Numb!!

Rain clouds come to play,
Sunshine’s out of vision.
The cold winter winds sweep over,
As gales and hurricanes take a toll.
For me, winter is here to stay and go on...

Spring is lost in the pathos of the earth,
Hidden somewhere underground,
Locked in its own prison walls,
Of dying Pansies and rotting Ivys.

The snow comes down in showering hales
And starry flakes that cover,
The whole wide-world white.

Like a dying man’s shroud it covers me too,
Death is cold and rough and almost silent.
It sweeps in and makes me go numb.

I am now losing myself
In the hollow of the light,
Burning red and black, for me;
Beckoning me to it.

Its this light that leads me,
Leads me not to my goal,
But to my final destination –
HELL!!
